A MOMENT
I watched you walk
With your sister
Blond beside brownette
Ponytail in bounce
Hating your sister
At a glimpse
Wondering
If it is because
Hating her is simply easier
Than hating you
We watched the ocean wash
The shore
Ongoing, on flowing
Forever seeming
Rolling, reclaiming what it lost
Deeper than the mind can fathom
Black hole alive with teeth
Mountain waves
Valley troughs
Forests of kelps
Reefs bleeding coral death while
No one cares at all
The stream of grayish black
Riding out, floating in
And many single flowers drifting out
Away from memory
From where she used to be
